This is a lovely poem submitted and written by one of our fine classmates:
Joy- by D.D.
Joy is in my life today,
The Spirit lives in me.
He washed all of my sins away
And came to dwell in me.
I’m grateful for what He has done;
His praises I will sing.
The fruit my life shows of God’s Son
Is the greatest thing.
Others see it in my life
And want it in their own,
So I tell them how they too can find
A joy-filled life now born.
It’s not temporary as happiness is,
But life-long and forever.
The joy this is that Jesus gives
Will leave me, never, never.
