Greetings, fellow poets!
Alas, my duties in the home have kept me from Pooh's Corner far too long. 'Tis a shame that in the midst of all this explosion of technology, that someone has not figured a way to link thought with technology...along the lines of a Vulcan mind-meld (for any Star Trek fans out there) or a "Quick-quotes" quill :0) That way, as I cook supper, run errands, shop for groceries, pump gas, etc., I can simultaneously add new posts to the blog! Without being in front of the computer!!
As my "Blog-master" and I learn our way around this new form of communication, we will be tweaking the blog site a little here and there. Our latest "tweaking" is in the submission of posts. Before you are able to have your comments posted, you must send me an email telling me who you are and what your *screen name* is going to be. No comments shall be posted until I know who it is that I am talking with!! :0) I'm just a little funny that way!! NOTE: send the info to my email in the S.O.G. directory
Our second *tweak* is that all comments will be moderated before posting them to the site. Unfortunately, we have had someone who crossed the line of POLITE conversation. You may want to recall these words..."And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him." Col. 3:17 niv The truth of scripture extends through out *all* aspects of our lives...even posts on a blog site.
I'll close this post with the following ...
"Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers." Eph. 4:29 In our case, it could read; let no corrupt word flow from your fingertips to the screen that does not edify or bring grace to your readers!
